Yorkshire Dales Granola

This Gorgeous cereal.......

 

.........was originally developed by our neighbours, David and Linda Finnell of Bread of Life, who used it to demonstrate the flavour and nutritional benefits of freshly milled grains.

We found the cereal so delicious and unlike anything else we had tasted that we decided to offer it to our bed and breakfast guests.  It became so popular that we closed the bed and breakfast and invested in the installation of a kitchen dedicated to producing Granola, making it available to everyone.  It is now available at selected farmers' markets, agricultural shows, food festivals, hotels and retail outlets including delicatessens and farm shops.

  • Nutritious wholegrain cereal
  • Made directly from grain milled on the premises immediately prior to production of Granola to retain all the grain's nutrients.
  • Only local (wherever possible) and natural ingredients used

Available in five varieties in 70g portion/snack packs, 250g, 475g bags and 1.4kg tubs or bags.

Original Recipe Nutty Granola

A delicious blend of toasted wholegrains (oats and wheat), almonds walnuts and peanuts

Not So Sweet Nutty Granola

Our latest addition to the range. The same as the above but without the added unrefined muscovado sugar. This granola is naturally sweetened with Yorkshire honey.

Nutty Spelt Granola

Same as above but without the peanuts and we use Spelt grain instead of Wheat. 

(Spelt is an ancient grain with a unique nutty flavour.  It is less complex and more easily digested than modern wheat.  Thus, many people who are wheat intollerant can eat spelt.  Please check with your GP first.

Oat/Spelt Granola

Crunchy Oat and Spelt clusters without the nuts.

Not So Sweet Granola

A popular choice for those who prefer no sugar.  Same as the Oat and Spelt Granola only we just sweeten with honey.

It's versatility is truly amazing................ Enjoy it as a breakfast cereal with milk or a snack on its own, combined with yoghurt, as a crumble topping or with fruit salad and/or crème fraîche as a dessert.
